Duroflex
Retail & Experience Centre Design
With more and more buyers moving online, the idea behind the Duroflex store was to create a tangible, irreplaceable and integral experience for the customer that will add to their whole shopping experience. We had to elevate the space to an experience store, by building on the brand promise of the ‘Ultimate Sleep Experience’, giving it a tangible value that carries on from the brand onto the product and into the store.
Strategy
As India’s leading mattress manufacturer, Duroflex were aiming even higher. Their goal was to become the one-stop brand that would provide the best sleep experience to their customers, elevated beyond their revolutionary new line of mattresses. Their vision and our challenge was to create a zone that establishes the brand as the forerunners in the department of sleep.

Therefore, we focused in created a warm, inviting and homely feel in the experience store. We focused on building designs that were privacy-centred and helped customers experience the products the way they would at home. We added further value to the store experience by incorporating spaces that allowed further interactive testing for higher product credibility.
Brand Design
Duroflex came to us to create a store that talks about the brand promise of ‘the ultimate sleep experience’ and brings alive the brand identity in a way that will immediately connect with the audience. In this age of quick and easy online shopping, we knew we had to hook the customer in order to give them a full brand experience at our store. We zeroed in on interaction with products as the core for the design ethos of the store.
Based on that, a soft and private design language was chosen that would make the customers feel comforted and at home. An entrance portal was created to provide an immersion into the brand, explaining the brand values and history. The brand assets were pulled in to the space in the form of red bands that run across the store, and the brand imagery used echoed the Duroflex values.
